Psychological Interventions

It is generally applied to a broad range of types of interventions, which includes psychotherapies (e.g., psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, problem solving therapy), community-based treatment e.g., assertive community treatment, first episode psychosis interventions … Examples of psychological disabilities include manic depression, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, anxiety disorders, delusional disorders, and eating disorders. Psychological disabilities can create barriers to education in different ways.

In this center when a new child comes for admission after getting diagnosis details psychological assessment will be followed to the child by taking some information thorough parents and assessing the child through psychological tool. Through this assessment child IQ level will be calculated and information will be passed to the parents and also Special Educator who deals the child so that according to the level teacher can plan curriculum to him/her. Even through this assessment if any behavioral issues were associated with the child then some guidance will be given by Psychologist to the Special Educator in modifying the problem behaviors
