we celebrated New year at our organization premises, Shri. S.P Reddy, Executive Director participated in the event and he greeted everyone for prosperity, good health, and wealth in this New Year. He has distributed New Year gifts to all the staff members of UETS. Staff members of UETS have actively participated in cultural activities. Shri. K Narayana Reddy, Project Director, Smt Uma Reddy, In charge, Shri. Venkata Satyanarayana Reddy, Assistant Director, and all other staff have participated.

Uma Educational & Technical Society, Kakinada has organized a Distribution of Aids & Appliance Programme on the eve of International Day of persons with Disabilities day at JNTU Kakinada with the support of BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd. Mrs. Krithika Shukla, IAS, Collector and District Magistrate, Kakinada District, Mrs. Vanga Geetha Viswanadh, Hon’ble Member of Parliament Kakinada and Shri. S. Masood Ahmed, General Manager, BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd, Mrs. Ragi Reddy Chandrakala, Chairperson, KUDA, Ms. Mumtaj Pattan, Chairperson of Andhra Pradesh Differently Abled & Senior Citizens Assistance Corporation, Vijayawada, Sri V.Kamaraju, Assistant Director, Department of Differently Abled, TGs & Senior Citizens, Kakinada District and Sri S.P.Reddy, Founder & Executive Director of UETS are participated in this program. We have distributed 7 Wheelchairs, 12 Tricycles, 21 Artificial Limbs, 3 pairs of Crutches and 12 Hearing Aids to Differently-Abled persons, after the distribution of Aids & Appliances our special children’s has received the prize for winning the sports which was held on 29.11.2022.

Harish Associate Prof, Department Psychiatric Rehabilitation, NIMHANS Bangalore, Dr. Varaprasad Psychiatric GGH Kakinada, Shri. S.P Reddy, Executive Director UETS, Dr. Veenasree, Project Director, Carers worldwide and persons with mental illness and their carers all UETS staff, children, and D.Ed, B.Ed trainees have participated and made the program successful.

Today on the occasion of AZAD KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV Uma Educational & Technical Society conducted a program at Achampeta Junction. Later Chief Guest Mrs. Dr. M. Kamalakumari, Special Officer, AdhikaviNannayya University PG Center, Kakinada spoke about the efforts of the late PingaliVenkaiah who designed our national flag and the importance of the flag. As part of the program, Guest of Honour Mr. Bejawada Satyanarayana, President, Thimmapuram Gram Panchayat started the program by hoisting the flag. Shri S.P.Reddy Executive Director, Mr. K. Uma Reddy, Special School Staff, District Handicapped Rehabilitation Center Staff, Special Education Training College Staff, State Deaf-Blind Center Staff, Students undergoing training in Special Education (D.Ed., B.Ed.), Students with Disabilities and their parents, and Target Inter The project staff of Vention Migrants participated and made the program a success.
