Mental Illness Project


Mental Illness project is conducting at Kakinada District with the support of carers worldwide It is mainly focused on Mental Health. The aim of the project is to achieve recognition of the role of carers and to transform the lives of carers, their families and their communities.

Project implementing activities.

  • ·        Survey and identification
  • ·        Community awareness programs on mental health
  • ·        Promotion of Carers groups
  • ·        Mental health camps with collaboration of DMHP
  • ·        Refer to medication
  • ·        Training for Carers
  • ·        Orientation to Grama Sachivalayam team members
  • ·        Skill training for livelihood
  • ·        Promotion of Mandal and District level Carers committees
